Producer/Performer B Raza Drops a Player’s Anthem with “Still Deciding,” a New Windy City Sound

CHICAGO - Known as a successful producer who works with many new artists, B Raza has released his debut single, “Still Deciding,” which puts him behind the mic showcasing his lyrical artistry.

“I didn’t know I had it in me to perform. I’ve been writing since I started making beats but always working with other artists,” B Raza said. After encouragement from a fellow artist, B Raza took the leap - “Still Deciding” is the result.

Influenced by his city, the Chicago native takes the “traditional” Chicago drill sound to the next level. With his solid yet unique voice, B Raza said, “I’m not the typical Chicago drill-type producer. I have a specific sound, and I use the same when making beats.” Even though he has transitioned to performing, B Raza is not leaving producing behind. His trademark production style is reflected in “Still Deciding.”

The track, which dropped on Jan. 28, is packed with energy from the first beat. Utilizing his blend of R&B and trap, he creates the perfect party song destined to be a club favorite.

“Still Deciding” is a player’s anthem about deciding which of the many ladies he should choose and who is a definite no for future relationships and fun. “It is really about hookups or whatever you want. It wasn’t hard to write ‘cuz as far as the other girls that I’ve dealt with in the past; I wanted to show the other side of me on this project. I just wrote what came to mind,” he explained. “It’s a player’s anthem that you’ll hear in the club. It’s definitely party-type stuff.”

The track is just the beginning of the hype for B Raza. He is planning an upcoming EP titled “Bae Raza,” which will continue to reveal his softer side while staying diverse. Paying homage to his city, future tracks look past the violence that Chicago has become synonymous with and shine a light on the city’s good side. He is making a conscious effort to showcase Chicago for what it is - the town’s light and the dark side.

“I come at you hard and try to hype up the crowd as much as possible,” B Raza said. “This is a whole bunch of energy, and people say once I go on stage that it’s just a different side of me, which is a good side of me. Once you listen to my music, you will see what is going on, and you will get hooked.”

While B Raza has dropped his debut single, “Still Deciding,” the verdict is out. There is no indecision. B Raza brings a new style to Chicago and beyond by fusing trap and R&B for musical perfection.
