In a moment that will forever be etched in rock history, the original Alice Cooper Group – consisting of Alice Cooper, Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, and Michael Bruce – reunited live on stage at London's sold-out O2 Arena last night. The electrifying performance in front of 12,000 stunned fans coincided with the release of their first new album in over 50 years, "The Revenge Of Alice Cooper," out now via earMUSIC.
The emotional peak of the evening began when Johnny Depp joined Alice and his touring band for what appeared to be the explosive finale: Black Sabbath’s classic "Paranoid," a powerful tribute to Ozzy Osbourne that already had the crowd in a frenzy. But the true magic unfolded next. In a move that sent shockwaves through the arena, original band members Dennis Dunaway (bass), Neal Smith (drums), and Michael Bruce (guitar) emerged to a thunderous ovation. The reunited quintet, supported by the touring band and Depp, then launched into a fierce and heartfelt rendition of "School’s Out," bringing the show to a euphoric close before Judas Priest took the stage.
This epic night at the O2 Arena followed an equally memorable event the previous evening at London’s Union Chapel. There, Alice, Dennis, Neal, and Michael, joined by longtime producer and honorary "sixth member" Bob Ezrin, participated in an exclusive, sold-out Q&A and global livestream, hosted by Sir Tim Rice. The Union Chapel event also featured the world premiere of the new album in its entirety.
"The Revenge Of Alice Cooper" captures the band’s signature venomous riffs, macabre storytelling, and undeniable swagger. Recorded in an old-school Connecticut studio with Ezrin at the helm, the album seamlessly blends classic Alice Cooper spirit with a fresh, powerful sound, proving that the band’s legacy is not only alive but roaring back with purpose. The album features a posthumous guitar appearance from Glen Buxton on "What Happened To You," ensuring his legacy is part of this historic rebirth.
"The Revenge Of Alice Cooper" is available now on all digital platforms and in a wide range of physical formats, including limited colored vinyl, deluxe box sets, and exclusive smart format editions.
