Damon Albarn, PinkPantheress, and Jamie xx are some of the confirmed performers set to appear at British musician and composer Brian Eno’s Together for Palestine concert.
The event will take place at London’s OVO Arena Wembley on September 17 and aims to raise money for the Choose Love charity. Every penny raised will go directly to Palestinian-led groups providing vital humanitarian aid. Tickets are now available through My Ticket.
Joining the lineup are artists like Bastille, Cat Burns, Greentea Peng, Hot Chip, James Blake, King Krule, Mabel, Obongjayar, Paloma Faith, Rachel Chinouriri, and Sampha, alongside Palestinian musicians including Adnan Joubran, Faraj Suleiman, and Nai Barghouti. PinkPantheress, Rina Sawayama, and Riz Ahmed are also expected to appear, with more performers to be announced soon.
Brian Eno will act as the executive producer for the night, working alongside production managers Khaled Ziada, Khalid Abdalla, and Tracey Seaward. Eno shared, “With everything happening in Gaza, staying silent is the same as being complicit. Artists have always played a role in shining a light on injustice and imagining a better future. That’s why this concert is so important. It’s not just about raising our voices but about reminding ourselves of our shared humanity.”
Khaled Ziada added, “When governments and the mainstream media stay silent in the face of genocide, this event becomes a powerful act of resistance. It’s a space where artists and communities can come together to mourn, express anger, and stand united with the Palestinian people and everyone who faces injustice.”
When Eno announced the concert on July 31, he shared a heartfelt message on Instagram explaining why he wanted to launch Together for Palestine.
He wrote, “What’s happening in Gaza isn’t confusing or a matter of competing stories. When respected organizations like Amnesty International and Doctors Without Borders call it genocide, the moral line becomes clear. We cannot stay silent. That’s why I’m helping organize Together for Palestine, a night filled with music, reflection, and hope at Wembley Arena.”
Eno went on to say, “I truly believe this night can be a moment of bravery, where artists come forward to speak their honest truths, that’s what we expect from artists. Whether they perform live or join via video from across the world, this is our chance to stand together and declare that this must end.”
The conflict began with the attacks on October 7, 2023, when over 1,200 Israeli civilians were killed by Hamas fighters, who also took more than 250 people hostage. Since then, Gaza’s Health Ministry has reported over 60,000 Palestinian deaths. In late July, the World Health Organization warned that malnutrition among civilians and children in Gaza had reached crisis levels.
Eno was also part of a group of musicians who came together in July to form a syndicate supporting artists who speak out against Israel’s military actions in Gaza. They say many have faced “aggressive and vexatious” campaigns from pro-Israel groups. Other members include Fontaines D.C., Kneecap, and Massive Attack.
In an Instagram post, the artists explained their goal: to protect fellow musicians, especially those just starting their careers, from being intimidated into silence or having their careers derailed by organizations like UK Lawyers for Israel (UKLFI).
