FearDorian and osquinn (quinn) are back with another sneak peek from their upcoming album. According to a press release, this one actually came as a bit of a surprise drop, which makes it even more exciting to see how confident they are in their new material. The track is titled “duh” and it stands out as one of the most wavy and psychedelic singles we have heard in 2025 so far.
Much of that feeling comes from the layered production handled by FearDorian and osquinn. The instrumental is built around a striking, transcendent vocal sample that feels almost otherworldly, pulling listeners into its atmosphere. Alongside that, sharp hi-hat patterns and shimmering synths give the song its rhythmic pulse and vibrant texture.
The result is an ethereal track that shines as a clear highlight from their upcoming project, Before You Press Play. Adding to its strength are the moody vocal performances from Dorian and quinn. Their laid-back yet emotionally heavy deliveries perfectly emphasize the somber mood of the song without ever slipping into monotony.
Fans who have followed their journeys will not be surprised by the chemistry between the two artists. Dorian has produced several records for osquinn in the past, and their shared stylistic approach makes their collaboration feel seamless. Both thrive within the underground trap space and continue to push that sound in unique ways.
As for the larger project, details are still being kept under wraps. What we do know is that it is scheduled for release on October 3. Previous singles include “L train vintage” and “bags.” However, the latter, which sampled pop singer Clairo’s song of the same name, has since been removed from YouTube.
The reason behind that takedown is still unclear, so fans will have to wait to see if it makes the final tracklist. In the meantime, you can listen to “duh” below.
