Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon's daughter recently shared a rare thought about her “much younger” half-siblings.
Monroe Cannon spoke about her blended family on her Instagram Stories on Wednesday.
“Clearing something up guys,” the fourteen-year-old wrote, before adding, “I only have ONE brother who is @moroccan.cannon. I do have other half-siblings from my dad but they are all many many years younger than me!”
Mariah and Nick, who were married from 2008 to 2014, welcomed their twins Monroe and Moroccan in 2011.
Since then, The Masked Singer host has become a father to ten additional children with various partners.
Nick, forty-five, is the father of son Golden, daughter Powerful Queen, and baby son Rise with Brittany Bell. He also shares twin boys Zion and Zillion and daughter Beautiful with Abby De La Rosa, a son named Legendary with Bre Tiesi, a daughter called Onyx with LaNisha Cole, and a little girl named Halo with Alyssa Scott.
Nick and Alyssa’s son Zen tragically passed away at five months old in December 2021 after battling cancer.
Representatives for the Believe hitmaker and the television personality have not yet addressed Monroe’s remarks.
In August, Nick admitted during his podcast, Nick Cannon @ Night, that he dislikes the term “co-parent” when discussing his relationships with the mothers of his children.
“When you start throwing labels on things, I think it does more harm than help and can get very dangerous, because then everybody else has a preconceived notion of what you are doing,” he explained. “I have not figured it out yet. I have not gotten it all the way right. But also, to your point, if I just step into every situation with respect and compassion, and individuality. That is the other thing I always do with anyone I am involved with in my life.”
