The investigation into Celeste Rivas’ mysterious passing is still moving forward. Sadly, her family and friends are no closer to finding the clarity they have been hoping for. Her remains were discovered inside an impounded Tesla registered to D4vd back in September, and even now, the cause of her death has not been determined.

This week, Robert Morgenroth spent three consecutive days testifying before a Los Angeles grand jury. Morgenroth serves as the general manager of D4vd’s record label, Mogul Vision. He also oversees D4vd’s touring company, Zara Brothers Travel, as its president. He is currently being represented by Evan Jenness.

According to TMZ, the situation inside the grand jury proceedings has not played out quite as smoothly as expected. The outlet reports that the deputy D.A. leading the presentation of the case, Beth Silverman, stepped out into the hallway today (December 10). In that moment, she noticed Jenness and walked up to speak with her.

Who Is Celeste Rivas?

Reports claim Silverman told Jenness that she would request a judge to issue a “body attachment” in order to compel a female witness to appear before the grand jury. The witness has not been named publicly. According to the outlet, she failed to attend court as required, leading Silverman to ask that she be taken into custody so she can be brought in to testify.

Celeste Rivas was only 14 years old when she died under unclear circumstances. She left her Lake Elsinore home in April of 2024 and contacted her family toward the end of the following month. Reports say that was the last time they heard her voice.

At this stage, the details of her alleged connection with D4vd have not been confirmed. However, both of them shared matching “Shhh” tattoos on their fingers. Additionally, an unreleased love song by the “Here With Me” singer that referenced the name Celeste appeared online not long after her remains were discovered. He has been identified as a suspect, along with another person whose identity has not been revealed.
