PinkPantheress is starting to seriously consider stepping into the world of acting alongside her music career.

Seeing her close pop peer Charli xcx begin making moves in film has helped spark the idea, with the Boys a Liar singer now feeling inspired to explore something new.

When asked about her ambitions for the year ahead, she told The Independent: "I want to be an actress!"

She did not go into detail about the types of roles she hopes to pursue, but the 24 year old artist did share that one of her standout moments of 2025 was watching Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Frankenstein.

When discussing her cultural highlights of the year, she said: "Watching Raye perform at the BFA awards and watching Frankenstein by Guillermo del Toro."

Earlier in the year, Charli also addressed PinkPantheress’ interest in collaborating musically.

The singer songwriter, whose real name is Victoria Walker, said she would love to work with the Von Dutch hitmaker, and the feeling appears to be mutual.

Speaking to PAPER magazine about Charli’s appreciation for her Tonight music video, PinkPantheress opened up about the idea of collaborating: “I mean, of course.

"If the opportunity ever comes up, I would love to. I will say it makes me s*** myself when I get recognition from any artists that I respect, for sure. It doesn’t matter who, genuinely, I get so excited.

“When I get recognition from other artists, especially ones that I have looked up to for a long time. Even though I’ve met her, I just love getting praise and hearing praise.”

Charli later replied on X with a simple message: “Well hello."

PinkPantheress recently released her second mixtape, Fancy That, which features the track Stateside, written and produced by The Dare.

The project serves as the follow up to her buzzy 2021 debut release, To Hell with It.

She also worked with the producer behind Charli xcx and Billie Eilish’s hit collaboration Guess, alongside aksel arvid and Count Baldor on the energetic raver.

Sharing her excitement about the song, she said: “So excited to share with you my favourite song off of the project, Stateside. it explores my growth as an artist and I hope everyone enjoys it as much as me.”
