Cardi B has spoken up about her relationship with boyfriend Stefon Diggs, responding to criticism in a playful and candid video shared online.
Earlier this month, some fans took aim at the National Football League player after he spent Christmas with his children from previous relationships instead of celebrating with the I Like It rapper and their newborn son.
Addressing the situation on X on Monday, Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Almánzar, posted a video alongside the message, "We need a reset."
"Y'all need to calm down," she said while recording herself from bed. "Y'all been dragging me for three or four days, and y'all been a little too mean. I can't change st. I can't go back in time. I already had a baby. Y'all want me to put my baby back in my psy? You want me to leave my man and f**k yours? What y'all want me to do? We can only go forward now."
In the days before Christmas, Cardi had shared a series of cheerful photos as she tried to capture festive moments with all four of her children, including the baby she welcomed with Stefon in November. The pair have not yet shared their child’s name publicly.
The Grammy winner is also a mother to Kulture, seven, Wave, four, and Blossom, 14 months, whom she shares with her estranged husband Offset.
She went on to explain that her focus is now firmly on preparing for her next tour, saying she has a huge amount to organise.
"I'm gonna be away from my babies, away from my personal life, away from my home... I need my support system, my fans, to love me," the 33 year old said with a smile. "I want y'all to come to my tour and enjoy yourselves with me. Don't be dragging me. That's enough!"
Wrapping up her message, Cardi added, "Leave me alone, though. Damn. Y'all scare me sometimes!"
The Up star is due to begin her 35 date Little Miss Drama Tour on 11 February, which will support her second studio album, Am I the Drama?.
Cardi officially filed for divorce from Migos rapper Offset in July 2024, although the proceedings have not yet been finalised.
