David Baddiel joked that he is more than willing to "waive the royalties" after Harry Styles included Three Lions in the setlist during his Wembley Stadium concerts.

The former One Direction singer has been blending Underworld's Born Slippy with the classic 1996 football anthem by Baddiel, Skinner and Lightning Seeds as fans celebrate the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Posting a video of Harry's performance on X, the 62 year old comedian wrote: "Happy to waive the royalties for Harry Styles."

Harry also recently admitted he feels like he is "in the middle of" his "career highlight" after taking the stage at the Meltdown festival alongside the Jules Buckley Orchestra for a special orchestral performance.

The 32 year old singer, who is now past the halfway point of his 12 night Wembley residency on the Together, Together tour, traded his usual high energy stadium spectacle for a more intimate orchestral concert last month. During the performance, he moved between guitar and piano throughout the evening.

Addressing the audience during the charity event at London's Royal Festival Hall in the Southbank Centre, Harry said: "Thank you so much for being here tonight.

"Feels both present and incredibly not present to be so aware that you're in the middle of your career highlight for me."

Reflecting on how different the experience was from his current tour, Harry added: "For anyone who has been to the tour, it's a little bit different in case you can't tell."

He also laughed with the crowd by joking that there were "no nipples" during the performance, a playful nod to his habit of appearing shirtless during many of his concerts.

The evening closed with a powerful rendition of Bridge Over Troubled Water, earning Harry an instant standing ovation that swept across the entire venue.

Harry went on to admit that leading an orchestral show was "quite intimidating," especially because he is unable to read sheet music.

He explained: "I've always been a lover of orchestral music, classical music, and it's quite an intimidating field to step into as someone who doesn't, cannot, read music."
