Wayno Criticizes Drake For Dissing Marvel

When Drake joined Stake for a 20v1, he likely did not expect the amount of criticism that followed. Much of the reaction was negative, though some comments were less serious. Wayno, for example, described Drake as looking slightly “corny,” which was hardly the strongest opinion shared online.

Even so, Drizzy chose to respond directly to Wayno. He pointed out that the commentator had recently appeared on a podcast discussing Marvel. Drake also mentioned that Wayno was a returning guest, suggesting that he clearly has a strong interest in Marvel.

“This you last week reviewing Marvel?????” Drake wrote. “Returning guest??? Never too late for some joy gang. Take is easeeeee.”

Wayno noticed Drake’s message and shared his thoughts in a YouTube video today. According to Wayno, the Canadian superstar’s past makes his criticism seem somewhat hypocritical.

Wayno Answers Drake’s Criticism

Drake’s OVO clothing label recently partnered with Marvel on a collection. The range used memorable scenes from Marvel comic books as inspiration for several fashion items. Supporting that kind of project suggests Drake also has an interest in comic book culture.

This appears to be another case of Drake relying on audiences to forget his previous moves while trying to embarrass one of his peers. However, Wayno has a large audience of his own and was not willing to allow Drizzy to shape the entire conversation.

The controversy surrounding the 20v1 will probably disappear fairly quickly. Online audiences often move on from stories within a short period. Another day could be enough for fans to focus on something new, and Drake is likely hoping that happens soon.
