Oasis appear ready to share details of their 2027 shows on Monday (14.09.26) at 4pm BST.
Following several mysterious videos suggesting UK and European stops, the Britpop band used a huge drone display above Manchester’s Etihad Stadium to reveal when the announcement would arrive. The stadium is among the locations seemingly referenced in the teasers.
Hundreds of drones rose above the city, lighting up the Manchester skyline with the message "Oasis, 14.09.26 and 4pm BST".
One teaser offered a strong hint that the Supersonic group could return to Paris in 2027, revisiting the city where their bitter split happened 17 years earlier. Shared on the band’s social accounts this week, the footage quickly had fans searching for clues.
In the clip, a man wearing a leather jacket takes a plum from a paper bag, eats it casually, then throws it across the road. The scene appears to reference Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher’s infamous backstage argument at Rock en Seine in 2009. During that dispute, a thrown plum hit a dressing room wall shortly before Oasis were scheduled to perform. Recounting the incident while introducing his first solo album in 2011, Noel said Liam left the room, hurled the fruit and came back wielding an acoustic guitar “like an axe”. The confrontation brought the band’s time together to an abrupt end.
The Paris video arrived after a clip went viral last week showing two boys dressed to look like younger versions of Liam and Noel. Sitting inside a British chip shop, they have a television playing Little By Little behind them. Viewers wasted little time examining the scene, believing its details might reveal where and when Oasis will perform in 2027.
Much of that discussion has taken place on Reddit, where fans spotted what looked like latitude and longitude coordinates on posters in the initial video. Those numbers seem to point to Glasgow’s Celtic Park, prompting suggestions that Scotland might host the opening shows.
Earlier coverage in The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column claimed the band were planning six performances at Knebworth, which would set a record, alongside a run of 12 shows at the Etihad Stadium.
Further clues have suggested additional European stops, with Rome among the cities mentioned.
