Justin Bieber has put out his second surprise album of the year.
The Sorry singer caught fans off guard two months ago with the sudden arrival of the album Swag, and once again shocked everyone on Thursday when he revealed another record was coming the very next day.
Justin shared the news of Swag II on Instagram by posting images of the pink cover displayed on billboards and landmarks across the globe.
While Swag included 21 tracks with a total run time of 54 minutes, Swag II takes things even further as a double album, packed with 44 songs that stretch over 2 hours and 11 minutes.
The new release brings together collaborations with artists such as Tems, Bakar, Hurricane Chris, Lil B, Eddie Benjamin, Gunna, Sexxy Red, and comedian Druski, among many others.
Fans were initially told the album would arrive at midnight on Friday, but when it didn’t appear on streaming platforms at that exact time, frustration quickly spread online.
The 31-year-old responded to their impatience through a series of Instagram posts, even sharing a text conversation where he asked his manager about the delay. Alongside it, he wrote, "It's comingggggg (sic)."
He also showed empathy for his listeners, posting, "Me waiting with u, not baiting u, not sure wut the f**kkyyy is going on clicking refreshhhhhh (sic)" as well as, "I'm sorry for the wait, they're telling me any second."
Just over an hour past midnight in California, the album finally appeared across streaming services, with Justin celebrating by posting screenshots to confirm it had gone live everywhere.
This marks the first time the Baby star has released two albums within the same calendar year.
