Tony Yayo declares Rick Ross’ career finished following low sales

Being the boss comes with expectations, and maintaining that reputation is not always easy. Rick Ross has seen his larger than life image take several blows in recent years. His feud with Drake put him at odds with one of the most loyal audiences in hip hop, while negative conversations surrounding his career have continued to grow. Much of the criticism has focused on the opening week performance of Set In Stone, which failed to enter the top 20 on the Billboard 200.

Tony Yayo and Uncle Murda recently discussed Ross on their podcast and suggested that his run in music is finished. While their personal connections clearly shape their opinions, Yayo stressed that Ross could not even outsell Tory Lanez, despite Lanez currently serving time in prison.

“Ross, you need some help. You need the Drake stimulus package. That wasn’t there for you. Beefing with 50, that wasn’t good for you. It’s just nothing been good for you, man,” Yayo said. “Find a new career, man.” Yayo also revealed that he would choose the wings from American Deli over anything offered by Wingstop.

The conversation did not stop with Ross. Yayo also responded to Memphis Bleek, who argued that their latest comments on Million Dollaz Worth Of Game supported his claim that they rely on 50 Cent. “Also Memphis Bleek, that comeback on Twitter, that shit was wack. Murda went f*ckin’ Ultimate Warrior on you, went Hulk Hogan on you.”

Yayo then drew comparisons between working under 50 Cent and being affiliated with JAŸ Z, referencing Casanova’s time with Roc Nation alongside Tony Yayo’s experience under Roc A Fella. Watch the video above and share your opinion in the comment section.
