Ariana Grande has another major achievement to celebrate after Petal opened in first place on the Billboard 200. The milestone gives the singer her seventh album to reach the top of the ranking, and she is thanking everyone who supported the project.

Grande celebrated the result on Sunday, Aug. 9, through an Instagram Story. She marked the occasion by sharing Billboard’s announcement about the album reaching the top position.

She expressed her gratitude by writing, “thank you from the bottom of my heart,” alongside a heart emoji dedicated to her supporters.

A day earlier, Grande shared several pictures and brief recordings from the creative process behind the record on her Instagram page. She introduced the personal collection with the caption, “petal forever.”

Grande brought the North American portion of her Eternal Sunshine Tour to a close in Chicago on Friday evening. Her remaining dates will take place in London, where she is scheduled to perform 10 times at the 02 Arena from Aug. 15 through Sept. 1 before spending some time away from public attention.

Marking the end of the run, Grande shared over the weekend, “i love you … i cannot believe that this concludes the north american leg of the eternal sunshine tour. i am overwhelmed with love and the deepest gratitude. thank you endlessly for the most special, beautiful, joyful and deeply fulfilling few months … i will cherish every moment of this time with you all & these memories forever. thank you, chicago … london, i cannot wait to see you soon. i love you all more than ever.”

After the concert, her brother Frankie posted a touching tribute recognizing everything his sister had accomplished. He also included footage showing himself and their mom watching the performance at Chicago’s United Center.

“Family forever. I will have your back until the end of time. I am so proud of you and so happy for you. Last night was a beautiful celebration of your artistry and the magnificent eternal sunshine family you have built and created. It was a magical night. You are magical. You are my everything and I am so so happy I was there to see you shine on this tour one last time,” he said.

When the Eternal Sunshine Tour finishes, Grande is expected to take “a step back from visibility,” her representative revealed in a statement provided to People last weekend. “She looks forward to finishing the tour and ending it on a high note, both healthily and happily, and then taking a much-deserved break from public-facing work and appearances.” Although the pause arrives during growing public discussion about her appearance and weight, the choice was “quietly made a long time ago” and was not “reactive,” Grande says. The decision also means she will no longer lead the upcoming London revival of Stephen Sondheim’s Sunday in the Park With George, which had been planned for next summer.
