Beabadoobee performs ‘Pylon’ live for the first time at Red Rocks

Beabadoobee gave the title song from her forthcoming album ‘Pylon’ its live debut during her Red Rocks concert. Watch the performance below.

The singer and songwriter is getting ready to share her fourth studio record, which follows 2024’s ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves’. ‘Pylon’ will arrive through Dirty Hit/Interscope on September 18 and is available to preorder here.

Her performance at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colorado took place on Friday, August 7. The concert completed a brief series of shows across the US before her major worldwide arena tour begins in October.

The evening featured four songs from the upcoming record. They included the previously released singles ‘Sun Has Set’ and ‘Switchblade’, alongside ‘Memories’. The latter received its fourth live performance at Red Rocks and is scheduled for release on August 20.

The biggest surprise came during the encore when Beabadoobee performed ‘Pylon’ acoustically for the first time. Before beginning the song, she warned the audience: “I’m really sorry if I fuck it up. This is the first time I’m ever playing it.”

‘Pylon’ will include Hayley Williams on ‘Nothing To Prove’ and Turnstile vocalist Brendan Yates on ‘Powerlines’. Pinegrove’s Evan Stephens Hall, Deftones singer Chino Moreno and Title Fight guitarist Shane Morgan have also contributed to the project. The 1975 members Matty Healy and George Daniel served as producers on ‘Write Me A Letter’.

The extensive ‘Powerlines’ tour is due to begin in Uncasville, Connecticut on October 1. Beabadoobee will bring the shows to the UK in November, with performances scheduled in Glasgow, Cardiff, Manchester and London. The forthcoming release succeeds 2024’s ‘This Is How Tomorrow Moves’. Giving the album four stars, NME described it as: “A collection of songs that showcase the tangled feelings of this time, the young artist’s third record is a poignant, powerful thing.”

Earlier in 2026, Beabadoobee collaborated with The Marías on ‘All I Did Was Dream Of You’. The single came with a music video influenced by Yorgos Lanthimos’ Bugonia. She also recorded a version of Elliott Smith’s ‘Say Yes’ for the War Child collection ‘Help(2)’.
