Travis Kelce Reflects on His Whirlwind Wedding to Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce has spoken about his "magical" marriage ceremony with Taylor Swift.

The American football star discussed their special day during Wednesday's edition of the New Heights podcast.

While briefly showing his new gold wedding band, Travis said to his brother Jason Kelce, "At this point, we're what, over a month out? It's been so much fun. I wish it could've lasted even longer than it did; it felt like it just happened in the blink of an eye."

Almost two months have passed since he married the Shake It Off singer at Madison Square Garden on 3 July. Adam Sandler led the ceremony, where the pop musician and Kansas City Chiefs player exchanged vows before 1,000 attendees.

"It's a night out we'll never forget," Travis continued. "Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up, from the vows to just seeing everyone, to how much fun we had, throughout the entire evening and hearing that kind of be relayed through everybody's stories of the night. And it was just so magical, man."

Among the many celebrity attendees were Brad Pitt, Paul McCartney, Lena Dunham, Ed Sheeran, the Haim sisters, Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Hugh Grant, Dakota Johnson and Sabrina Carpenter.

Speaking about the rule preventing guests from using phones inside the venue, Travis said it was "so cool to see how everybody interacted" without their devices. He explained that the decision "makes everyone be in the moment and be present".

"It was so cool seeing everyone from my childhood, not only mesh with Taylor and her childhood and her family and friends and people that she works with, to who we've come in (contact) with over our career and who we just admire as people and have become good friends with now," he stated.

The athlete previously spoke publicly about the marriage for the first time in August, sharing a few words with journalists during the Kansas City Chiefs' training camp in Missouri.
