Mis-Teeq Break Up Days After Their Sold-Out Wembley Comeback

Mis-Teeq have officially separated just one week after making their stage comeback at London’s OVO Arena Wembley. Sabrina Washington is now preparing to tour independently with a new production celebrating the group’s musical journey.

The Garage group, featuring Sabrina, Alesha Dixon and Su-Elise Nash, thrilled thousands of fans with their emotional reunion performance. With no additional Mis-Teeq concerts scheduled, Sabrina will continue the celebrations across the country through her newly announced A One Night Stand Just Ain’t Enough tour.

The show will honour more than 25 years of Mis-Teeq’s music. Sabrina will perform major tracks she helped create, including Scandalous, All I Want, One Night Stand and Why, along with solo releases such as OMG, Make It Hot and Don’t Call Me. Designed as a tribute to the club culture of the early 2000s, the production will include DJs, dancers, special guests and recognisable figures from the UK Garage and R'n'B community.

The tour will visit Manchester, Birmingham, London, Glasgow and Newcastle between February and April.

Sabrina said: “The reaction to the Mis-Teeq reunion has honestly been overwhelming. We knew there was still so much love for the music, but seeing just how much these songs continue to mean to people 25 years later has been incredibly emotional.

“From the moment Wembley was announced, I was receiving messages from people saying, ‘What about Manchester? Where’s Birmingham? Are you coming to Scotland? What about the rest of the world?’ and I kept seeing people saying that one night simply wasn’t enough. So there really could only be one name for this tour!

“Walking out at Wembley and hearing thousands of people singing those songs back to us was something I’ll never forget. It was such a special way for the three of us to celebrate everything we achieved together.

“These songs changed my life. I recorded them, I wrote many of them and I have so many memories and stories attached to them, as do our supporters. This tour gives me the opportunity to celebrate that music in my own way and get much closer to the public who have supported us for all these years.

“And I want it to feel like a proper night out. I want people getting their old gang back together, getting dressed up, doing their hair and make-up with the music blasting and then coming out and feeling like they’re back in those clubs again. We’re going to have special guests, surprises and some familiar faces from that era joining us along the way, so every night can have something a little bit different.

“Whether you were there with us 25 years ago or just discovered Scandalous for the first time, this is going to be a celebration. Wembley was our One Night Stand, but as it turns out, a one night stand just ain’t enough!”

Mis-Teeq achieved global sales of more than 12 million records and became one of the leading acts from the UK Garage era. They earned seven consecutive UK Top 10 singles and released two double platinum albums. Songs including Why, All I Want, One Night Stand, B With Me, Roll On/This Is How We Do It, Scandalous and Can’t Get It Back found chart success throughout Europe, Asia, Australia and the US.

During their short reunion, the trio appeared on major stages such as the Britain’s Got Talent final and Capital’s Summertime Ball. Their sold out Wembley concert has now been confirmed as the last time they will perform together.
